PCom Finale project. Created with Azure Qian and Negar Behbahani.
In past two weeks we tried hard to make sound from each switch of our device.
Now we have 4 different sounds for taps of each user.
We got an audio shield for arduino to store and play the sounds with out a computer. After soldering the board it didn’t work because the code we found from Adafruit was for ArduinoUno. For this project we are useing ArduinoMega so we rewired the shield (maped the pins) and it worked.

We choose the sounds which they must be 16bit, wav form, 4100. we put all sounds on SD card but one of the sounds didn’t play. we figure out it was because sometimes the sounds that we download from internet are not the exact format that they mention, so we choose another sound and solved this problem.
Now we have a drum teacher device with sounds and vibrations. We playtested it with some students and they almost play correctly.
The next step of our project is:
1. to make a checking system to show if the players ate imitating each other correctly.
2. To make a box to store our wires and speakers and ArduinoUno.
These are the videos of play tests with some students.
